Missions:

• Advance high-performance computational techniques for turbulence and multiphase flow in complex moving geometry at macro- and micro-scales, for multi-scale simulation and fluid-structure interaction.

• Understand macro- and micro-fluid transport characteristics in urban and extreme conditions as well as in the human lungs and their dynamic interplay and long-term implications on environmental and human health.

• Educate and motivate both undergraduate and graduate students to become next generation educators, researchers, and leaders in government and industry.
